…met de EP ‘Invincible Summer’ en zijn album ‘The Believer’!

over de opvolger van ‘Finding Forever’. “I’m working on a new album called The Believer. I’m just getting in the mode.
I been touring a lot and been working on verses here and there. Now, I’m starting to get focused on the album, letting it take its shape.
And at the same time be working on films, God willing.”
De rapper maakte tevens bekend dat hij van plan is om een EP uit te brengen genaamd Invincible Summer. De EP moet vanaf juni in de winkels liggen en zal draaien om de liefde. Het bevat producties van The Neptunes, Just Blaze en Kareem Wiggins.

De rapper uit Chicago zal verschijnen in de films “Street Kings” (met Keanu Reeves en Game) en in “Wanted” (met Angelina Jolie). Naar alle waarschijnlijkheid zal hij ook de rol van ‘The Green Lantern’ krijgen wanneer de schrijvers van de film “The Justice League” weer aan de slag gaan. Door de stakingen van de schrijvers in de US heeft dit project stil gelegen.

Het album met Q-Tip, als duo The Stardard, laat nog even op zicht wachten maar hij zegt het volgende erover:”Q-Tip and I been planning the Standard album. We been conceptualizing, but we just gotta continue to work on it. We will. I look at it like two jazz musicians getting together, the way Charlie Parker and cats would get together and do work. I feel a lot more free with my music now that I’m doing films and stuff, because I don’t put as much pressure on the music. It ain’t my only source of income and way to make a living.”
